Looking for quality referees committed to providing a positive basketball learning experience for youth.

The official's are required to maintain control of the game, use good judgment, able to make the appropriate call(s) and maintain a professional appearance and attitude. The safety of the players is an important role of the official and must be observed at all times. Games are held Monday - Sunday at various schools throughout Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties. Games last approximately 1:15 minutes, according to NFHS rules. Games available starting from end of November through mid March.

QUALIFICATIONS: · Knowledge of the game of basketball · Previous Referee Experience Preferred · Must be responsible · Must enjoy working with children · Must be of sound mind, good character and able to make quick decisions · Must pass criminal background check · Must attend various mandatory training classes

Dress Code

• Polished, black, athletic shoes
• Black socks
• Black slacks with a belt is acceptable at lower levels but as the level of competition rises, beltless pants are the norm
• A striped shirt, V neck
• A whistle and a lanyard
